Cold, Damp weather prevailed on this Sunday hike in the Upper Fall Creek area. Weak sunshine occasionally filtered through the murk, but rain fell in earnest only on the return leg. This close-knit, all-Obsidian group hiked in good spirits, which lasted all day and spilled over to an extra-long D.Q. coffee session at Pleasant Hill. (Note: It is rumored a long-needed car parking area is to be constructed at the trail head . . .) “Gold Pointers” were Peter Cecil, Margaret Crosland, Betty Legris, Don Payne, Lots Schreiner, Helen Smith, Mike Wright and leader John Cecil.
