Eugene to PCNST

The Obsidian field Day Eugene to Crest Trail crew celebrated the opening of the building season on a drizzly day. We began a new section of the trail three miles west of Squaw Butte Road where the new construction junctions with the Awbry Mtn Trail. Four Obsidians and Jeanette Haugen of the Oakridge Ranger District worked with a will to build about 2 mile of trail over somewhat difficult terrain. The hearty crew was composed of Paula Vehrs, Mary Fulton, Bonnie Ledford, Jeanette Haugen and leader Jerold Williams.
