Rosary LakesFebruary 21, 1981Sunny, warm weather greeted us at Willamette Pass. The snow seemed about a foot deep, still clinging heavily to the trees. But—the snow was melting fast on the trees. The skiing was excellent, but it was like traveling through rain in bright sunshine. The lakes presented a photographers dream. We ate lunch at Lower Rosary Lake, then skied on up to the Middle and Upper lakes. The run out was fun! Not too fast. We were gone a little over four hours—10:20 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Trip members were Bob Fletcher, Bea Fontana, Lyn LaGrander, Margaret Hadaway, Herb McMurtry, George Reddick and leader Jack Ewing. |
