Maklaks Loop

The snow was surprisingly good, the weather was warm and sunny and we had an enjoyable six mile run along the Davis Lake road and on the well-marked Maklaks Loop trails. This is a good trip for beginners and intermediates; and the nice thing about this tour you don’t have the crowds like you do at Gold Lake.

Looping around this first weekend in February were Max Bennett, Marie Bloom, Mary Christoferson, Bob Gaesser, Josh Goldstein, Gladys Grancorvitz, Bonnie Ledford, Joyce Phillips, Bret Porter and leader Dorothy Leland.
