Irish Lake

October 24, 1981

The road is a “bit lumpy.” That is the way the road from Waldo Lake Road to Irish Lake was described to me. Actually the eight miles of dirt road could be described as “very” lumpy. But with the help of Lee Hatch’s truck and a borrowed van twelve of us made it over that road to a beautiful area that borders on the Three Sisters Wilderness. The trip included a hike up to the top of Irish Mtn. led by Lee Hatch. Great weather, clear skies and beautiful fall color.

Hikers were Jan Baker, Bob Foster, Fran Gnose, Lee Hatch, Dick Hildreth, Arden Johnson, K.C. Kraft, Lyn Legrander, Dot Leland, Andy and Marie Anne Thompson, and leader Jane Hackett.
