Pyramid Mtn

We started on the Pyramid Mtn Trail above French Pete Creek and after three miles through the timber were on top of the ridge on mostly poor trail, or no trail. After passing what we thought was Pyramid Mtn. a sign indicated that we were at Pyramid Helispot and the Rebel Creek Trail, where we had left a car on the way up, was a half mile ahead. There was some discussion of which way to go on this trail (Don’t follow Wilbur, he’ll get you lost). After a long walk high above Rebel Creek, we actually came out where we had left the car. On this eleven mile hike were John Cecil, Wilbur Groner, Sandra Larsen, Betty Legris, Ruth Romoser and leader Lee Hatch.
