McKenzie River Trail

Began trip at Deer Creek Trailhead and hiked 5 miles north, then back to Smith River for lunch. Weather cloudy, but no rain, with ideal hiking temperature. Only two hikers — Sue Girardeau and leader K. C. Kraft, but plenty of good conversation and beautiful scenery.
