Mount Hagan

March 23, 1980

Hagan’s noisy generator is alive and well, and thudding away at the top of the 3,330 ft. mountain near Nimrod. However, indications are that this may well have been the last hike to the top. Preparations are well advanced for further logging roads to be constructed, which will destroy a large section of the little-used and long-neglected trail. Further, we found, to our regret, the sturdy fire look out house has been completely removed from its vantage point atop the mountain.

Cap Hagan “mini-group” making these discoveries consisted of K. C. Kraft, Betty Legris and John Cecil (leader).
