French PeteApril 28, 1979A beautiful spring day and the rushing waters of French Pete Creek made our trip in French Pete a delightful one. Flowers were out. The trail was dry. Everyone had an opportunity to stretch their legs and to try out their hiking strides. Most hikers hiked into the four-mile marker and some hiked to the five-mile marker. No unusual incidences occurred and everyone seemed to enjoy the experience. Participants were Doris Allen, Christy & Larry Cash, Bob Devine, Gladys Grancorvitz, Jane Hackett, Bonnie Ledford, Betty Legris, Ethel and Robin Steussy, Bob Walden, Edna Whaley and leader Liz Glover. |
