Mark Bondurant’s slide show on April 21 was an unusual sight/sound presentation. About 70 Obsidians enjoyed the potluck and many more friends came afterward to see the show. This 1976 Bicentennial bicycle trip was a unique experience for Mark and many other young people, biking both ways. The United States was covered from Reedsport, Oregon to Eastport, Maine. The four projectors filled a screen covering the whole north wall of the room, with sights along the way outstanding sunsets, ghost towns, small towns, big cities, unusual signs, etc., accompanied by beautiful stereo music.
