The 80 or so who heard Bert Ewing and saw his slides on Saint Patrick’s Day came away with a new appreciation of the Eugene Mountain Rescue Team, of which he is a member—and of him and the others in it. It was a pleasure to see so many younger Obsidians present for the program, as well as the young in heart. The food fairly made your mouth water, the conviviality your heart warm, and the tables were a fine sight with the shamrocks and the bonnie blossoms. Sorry to have missed you.
