Dance NightFebruary 9, 1979This was another successful event with fifteen enthusiastic people turning out for an evening of dancing. A little of everything was on the program from waltzes and polkas to circles, line dances and even a few squares. The nice thing about many of these dances is they don’t require a partner and as long as we have Dot Leland to lead most anyone can join in and have a good time, even without any previous dance experience. The new record player hooked up to the speakers sounded fine and a cheery fire and snacks added up to a fun evening. If you want more dances, let your entertainment committee know. —Leona Mattson |
