Skyline Trail North of Hoodoo

Beautiful day, good snow (approx. 7 ft!) and a happy group. A fabulous view from one of the high meadows about two miles north of the parking lot north of the “Santiam Highway” summit. Area was not crowded with “bodies” on this cross country snowshoe tour which actually spurned the Skyline Trail. Enjoying the exceptionally warm March day were Helen Smith, Ruth Romoser, Lois Schreiner, Ted Stern, Helen Hughes and leader Clarence Landes.
