Maklaks Loop

The Maklaks Loop is a first time Obsidians ski trip. It is a well marked trail which starts at Odell Lodge and follows along the Lake until Sunset Cove, then crosses the highway and eventually connects with the David Lake Road. The seven mile loop ends back at the highway. There wasn’t much snow around the Lake, but there was good snow the rest of the way. This is an excellent beginners trip and worth repeating again. We all enjoyed the skiing and the refreshments at the lodge afterwards. First time loopers: Karen Brown, Emeline Dale, Bea Fontana, Donna Ferchland, Joella Hadland, Patty Hyatt, Kevin & Parker Riddle, Rod & Kathi Stroh, Velma Shirk, Merle Traudt, and Ron & leader Dot Leland.
