Little Odell Butte
January 7, 1978
We were greeted with a beautiful sunrise, but most of the day remained grey.
The party consisted of twenty-four skiers and one snowshoer—hi Joe!
There was only two to three feet of snow, but enough.
The snow was good for skiing, not icy like the last time the Club made this tour.
Those along on that one will well remember.
After lunch the group split in two with the more advanced skiers going all the way
around the Butte and leaving quite a few impressions coming down the northeast slope.
