Fawn Lake via Odell Lodge

June 12, 1977

Since logging equipment blocked access to the Lowder Mountain area, the trip was changed to Fawn Lake via Odell Lake. We found the trail hot and dusty. After lunch at a small mud hole we hiked the last 1/8 mile to the lake. It was a very interesting trip, especially since the leader had thought the mud hole was Fawn Lake. Those enjoying the nine mile trip were Mary Bridgeman, Barbara Durchanek, Dorothy Hayes, Karen Houglum, Elizabeth McMullin, James and Ralph Nafziger, Clarence and Dorothy Scherer, Connie and Millard Thomas and leader Peter Cecil.
