Jack Nitzel: NepalMay 21, 1977On Saturday, May 21st about thirty attended the 7:30 p.m. dessert of cake, pie and many “goodies.” Each of the tables held vases of-beautiful white rhododendrons furnished by Ray Sims. Afterward Jack Nitzel showed his most interesting slides of the hiking trip through the high mountains and valleys of Nepal. His knowledge of the people of that country gave us a feeling of the “Happy People” though very poor. Jack’s “dealings” in Katmandu, capital of Nepal, seemed to be of his liking. |
