Obsidian Lodge Rock WallApril 16, 1977Saturday 16 April ten people gathered with the climbing committee instructors for about four hours of lessons in knot tying, belaying, rappelling, equipment and clothing. Much use was made of the climbing wall and several people made their first rappell. Bright sunshiny day, everyone learned and had a good time. Obsidian Explorer instructors doing a very good job of instruction, were Ken Daletas, Steve Johnson, Keith Blunck, Steve McManigal and Advisor Frank Moore. The trainees were: David and Jeff Cash, Dorothy Hayes, Dorothy Leland, Henrietta Richmond, Richard and Robert Scherer, Connie and Millard Thomas, and Pat Zustiak. |
