Little Odell Butte

January 24, 1976

This ski trip was switched from Fawn Lake to Little Odell Butte because of the icy, crystallized snow conditions which would render a steep downhill run hazardous. The day was crisp and clear and all indicators were for a fine venture into snow country with fourteen enthusiastic cross country skiers.

In spite of a few problems encountered all skiers were out by 4:30 p.m. and headed back to the Lodge for a super potluck dinner and an excellent slide show presented by Dr. Baldwin.

Those on the trip were: Norman Barnes, Joella Hadland, Dorothy Hayes, the leader, Beverly Juilfs, Dorothy Leland, Glen Meares, Sam Miller, Jan Middleswart, Wes Prouty, Parker Riddle, Chuck Schultz, Velma Shirk, Merle Traudt, and Dorothy Turner.
