Cloverpatch ButteMay 8, 1976Traveling cross country through vine maple, across logs, etc. we went over the top of Cloverpatch Butte to the saddle between the Butte and Tire Mtn. then on the way back dropped down lower and found water. A frustrating day for the leader because she could not find the meadow just below the top of Cloverpatch, but an interesting day for map and compass use. The weather was excellent—warm and sunny. Travelers were, Wilbur Groner, Lily Keesom, Lee Hatch, Dorothy Leland, Herbert and Evelyn McCornack, Dorothy Peterson, Art & Isabel Porter, Lou Qualls, Elaine Senoski, Velma Shirk, Helen Smith, the leader, Richard Wilen, and Freddie. |
