Mt. Nebo Country

Drove to Leaburg, and parked on Johnson Creek road. Hiked along the EWEB canal for a mile, then north up the hill for 1200 vertical feet in about two miles to the road network on top, using this system, to the base of Nebo. It was a drizzly day with very wet brush, and people for that matter. Only smart one in the bunch was Parker who went snow shoeing instead (he encountered only snow).

Wet travelers were, Ewart Baldwin, Mary Bridgeman, Peter Cecil, Frank and Wilma Moore.
