Sunday August 8th Picnic

August 8, 1976

Thirty one sat down to a fine potluck dinner, as the sun shone through the open east doors and no other heat was needed.

For Don Woods’ fine pictures of the European Alps there were thirty seven attentive viewers. It was nice to meet Don again after his absence of nearly 50 years. And it was nice to see some former Obsidians—Cliff and Hazel Stalsberg, Dot and Elsie Dotson, Harriet Guldager, and Dale Carlson with his two sons David and Kevin. Don’s sister also attended.

Ray and Don opened the Lodge early, set the tables and made the coffee, and thanks to Art Johnson for taking the flag down. —Ray Sims
