Gold Lake

January 18-19, 1975

On a beautiful day, we had a leisurely trip up to the Gold Lake trailhead. Harnessed our snowshoes and ambled into Gold Lake where we ‘walked’ around all afternoon. Two of us enjoyed a warm evening, with bright starlight. It was a bit nippy in the morning, before the sun finally shone by noon. Walked up to the Willamette Pass Ski Area where my parents picked Gladys and I up.

Altho’ the other seven members of the party had never been on snowshoes before, they were most enthusiastic and are eagerly awaiting another trip. As usual, a delightful group, a good time, and a good day!! Those along on the trip were Liz Arnold, Angie Barta, Mary Bridgeman, the leader, Jane Collins, Liz Collins, Gladys Grancorvitz, Sharon Stahl, Aileen Lyman.
