Weyerhaeuser Rd.—Jasper Area

October 26, 1975

Leaving Courtwrights’ at 9:00 a.m. our small (2) group bicycled south to the Weyerhaeuser Road. Although it had rained during the night before, and was quite cloudy during the day, we had generally good weather for bicycling.

Along the Weyerhaeuser Road is an old cemetery. The majority of markers indicate there were many Wallaces in the area; several being pioneers. Along the road were flickers, rose hips, juncos and lots of neat rolling quiet farm scenery. The fall colors were doing their best.

Reaching the end of the black top we followed Hills Creek Road to Jasper Road to Wallace Creek Road and then back to the Weyerhaeuser Road; making a nice loop trip. The travelers were, Parker Riddle and Clara Emlen, leader.
