French PeteMay 17, 1975The day was perfect for our hike along the French Pete creek trail. The creek was high with sparkling white water in the sunlight. There were lots of trilliums and other wild flowers for our enjoyment. Birds were chirping our presence and deer were nearby—spring has finally arrived. The trail is in very good condition, especially the log bridges. This is always a pleasant walk, more so, when the creek is so white and roaring and the sky so sunny. Enjoying the day were: Carol Bourgerie, Mary Bridgeman, Esther George, Chuck Haddad, Lee Hatch, Ed Mattson, Parker Riddle (leader), Larry Rubenstein, Connie Thomas, Milt Thomas, Merle Traudt. |
