Stony Point

There were ten people participating in this leisurely hike southwest of Crow. It was partly cloudy so distant views were out, but we were able to see Fernridge Reservoir and the south end of the Willamette Valley. The wildflowers were not out nearly as much as in 1974. It started to sprinkle on our way back to the cars so we did not hike cross country as intended. Those on the five mile round trip hike from from Timber Ridge to Stony Point were: Kathleen Brown, Doug Cheney, Clara Emlen (leader), Sharlyn Jackson, Bev Juilfs, Rick Juilfs, John Mackwood, Teresa Nutt, Merle Traudt, and Robert Walden.
