Al Prigge: “Geothermal Energy”January 25, 1975A winter wonderland greeted the fifty who attended the potluck on the 25th—a beautiful snow storm (celebrating the sixth anniversary of the “big snow” of '69). Al Prigge of the W.N.F. office presented a fascinating description of geothermal energy production with pictures. A delightful concert was presented before the program, by Dave Moffitt and two friends, on violin, guitar, and banjo. Music for dancing . . . and singing! Dorothy Leland, Entertainment Chairman, arranged this wonderful evening. Sue and Frank Riemer set up the tables and decorated with “artfully devised ecology creations”. Edith Bridgeman headed the kitchen committee with Keith and Bessie Brunig, Myrtle Smith, Muriel Aufderheide, and Teresa Nutt. |
