Mt. Washington

July 20, 1975

Weather was ideal. One day trip starting from Big Lake at skyline at 6:30 a.m. Arrived on top about 11:00 with nobody holding us back. We napped and ate, then proceeded down about 2:00 p.m. An excellent descent down on the snow in the bowl was found. It reminded me how much I want winter to come back, so I can go skiing. We got back to the cars about 4:30 p.m. A nice climb with an excellent group. Climbers were Derrell Gottwald, Kevin Kirk, Nick Maskal, Steven & Kevin McManigal, Bobby, Alice and Paula Moffitt, Terry Titus, and leader Rick McManigal.
