Wendling Area Trip

December 14, 1974

Arrived at gates of Georgia-Pacific private campgrounds and then followed along mainline railroad right-of-way. Made a loop around Oshkosh road and Mill Creek road. Saw a “pincushion” (a live porcupine) and a red tailed hawk along the route. A good day, good group and a good trip. Those on the trip were: Mildred Brandt, John & Pete Cecil, Chuck Haddad, Leon McDowell, Helen Smith, Merle Traudt, and Mary Bridgeman, leader.
