Broken Top

September 28-29, 1974

Two beautiful days and a very comfortable night for camp.

Five other groups must have thought the same—so there were about 35 “bodies” making room for each other. However the attitudes were very good—so no problems.

Our party went into Broken Top Basin from Century Drive, then by trail on the Ditch Line route. Climbers were Larry, Zotty & Jeff Cash, Chuck Haddad, Tom Landes, Al and Mike (Mrs.) Niems, Merle Traudt and leader Clarence Landes.
