It was not raining when we left the city, but was pouring when we reached
The rain let up to a drizzle, so we made it into Booth Lake where a fire was
started and we enjoyed a wet lunch.
A few deer were seen by some of the group.
It was nice to have a walk in the rain with such a pleasant group of hikers.
One does gain an entirely different perspective of wilderness beauty on a rainy hike.
On the way home the weather cleared a bit and we were able to enjoy the beauty of
our fall folliage, which was in abundance.
