Attending the Golden Anniversary of the Forest Service in Portland April 11 were Ruth Onthank and Frances Newsom.
"Tenzing, Tiger of Everest" by Tenzing Norgay as told to James Ramsey Ullman is the life story of the famed Sherpa climber now appearing in four installments in Sorts Illustrated. An expanded book form called Tiger of the Snows is to be published in June by G. P. Putnam's Sons.
Annual Meeting of the Friends of Three Sisters will be held at Laurelwood Country Club May 7 with dinner and evening sessions.
