A very small percentage of members avail themselves of the many fine trips planned for their benefits. To those faithful few, who somehow manage to show up on most trips, the interest of the club depends. Of course, many find it impossible to go, but to those who possibly can, we urge them to cooperate with the leaders to make those trips successful.
We understand that the Princesses are to put on a Chief's initiation at the New Years Party.
Lodge story continued
February 1, 1937.
Dorr Hamlin, chairman on financing the lodge, has suggested various ways of raising funds necessary. Among them, life membership fees, dances, skating parties, etc., Obsidians are requested to enter into all plans for the financing, as the interest of every member is needed to build this permanent and substantial lodge, which will be a joy to us all in future years.
A special meeting for all members will be called when final plans are ready.
A REAL SKI TRAIL
The old McKenzie Highway has been cleared of brush and other obstructions from the Deer Butte trail down about a mile and one-half. The Obsidian Ski trail signs are placed at all curves, the ride down should pay for all the back aches from brush cutting.
